A criminal conviction has a negative impact on anyone's life, but for college students the consequences can be especially severe. A college student with a criminal record faces serious disadvantages compared to peers; when seeking employment during and after college, and dificulty obtaining financial aid, are examples.
Preventing Criminal Convictions
When working in college student criminal defense, my goal is to keep my client's criminal record clean. In all cases I work to minimize consequences including just what will appear on a background check.
University Disciplinary proceedings
A student must sometimes respond to his/ her university's disciplinary proceedings while their criminal matter is still unresolved. I regularly appear at these hearings, protecting my clients rights in the criminal court while makeing a satisfactory responce to the college's disciplinary board.
Fees
I know how hard most students work for their money. My college student clients pay one low affordable fee. There are no further charges throughout the case. There are no surprises.

On a personal note, I am a proud alumnus of the University of Massachusetts. Is it convienent to meet right on campus? I am frequently there for a sports game!
